(Past) Grand River: Mud and Microbes

  • BRIDGE Centre for Architecture + Design 37 Main St Cambridge Canada (map)

Stay tuned for reflections and updates on this past event.

A hands-on workshop where participants will be invited to collect samples of mud from the Grand River and place it in clear acrylic tubes along with nutrients that support microbial growth. When exposed to light, the microbial life in the sculptures will become visible to the naked eye in the form of marbling across the surface.
