Join Paul Baines to practice looking at water as a dynamic and beautiful relationship to be respected, rather than a resource to be used. Come hear about the Water Friendship project and the creation of key patterns that help us answer the question "what does a good relationship with water look like?" We have many ways of measuring water quality, but not the quality of our relationship to this shared commons and sacred gift. Come see what type of relationships you have with water and how we can collectively restore this precious friendship.
Paul Baines innovates critical and creative projects that deepen our experience with water. He is the Blue Communities Coordinator for the Federation of Sisters of St. Joseph, the Animator for the Great Lakes Commons initiative, and the founder of the Great Lakes Commons Map. He lives with the waters of the Otonabee river in Michi Saagiig Nishabaabeg territory (Peterborough).
